The dot SE country-code domain name extension was set up in 1986 and assigned to Sweden. During the first years after its introduction, the registration procedure was quite restrictive, so a very limited number of domains were acquired. Individuals could book only one domain under .PP.SE (“pp” stands for “private person”).
